The SLLS First Aid Level (ii) exam builds on the skills acquired in Level (i) and covers more advanced first aid techniques and knowledge.

    • Demonstration of Skills: Candidates must demonstrate advanced first aid techniques, which may include:
      • CPR for various age groups (adult, child, infant)
      • Use of an AED
      • Managing more complex injuries and emergencies
      • Bandaging and splinting techniques
      • Scenario-based emergency response drills

Preparation

  • Attend Training Course: Completion of the First Aid Level (ii) training course is necessary before taking the exam.
  • Study Materials: Review course materials, including manuals and guidelines.
  • Practice Skills: Regularly practice practical skills in training sessions to build confidence.

Certification

  • Passing Requirements: Successful completion of both the written and practical assessments is required to receive certification.
  • Validity: The certification is valid for three years, after which recertification is necessary.
