The ILS (International Life Saving) Lifesaver exam is designed to evaluate the skills and knowledge of candidates in various lifesaving techniques and emergency response protocols while assessing the readiness and proficiency of candidates in lifesaving skills applicable in various environments, including open water and pool settings.
Minimum Age: 14 years
Duration: 48 hours (07 Days)
Certification offered by: International Life Saving (ILS)
This exam will cover the areas of,
- Lifesaving principles and techniques
- Rescue methods
- First aid procedures
- Using rescue equipment (e.g., rescue tubes, boards)
- Conducting safe entries and exits in water
- Performing different types of rescues (e.g., active and passive victims)
- Perform CPR on mannequins
- Apply first aid techniques for various injuries
- Demonstrating various swimming strokes
- Make quick decisions in emergency contexts
- Execute rescues while communicating with team members
